Warranty Policy

Eight Quarters is proud of our products and offer a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty on basins and 1-year manufacturer’s warranty on wastes.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, this warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for domestic and residential use only and excludes incorrect installation, installation by a non-licenced plumber, accidents, misuse, improper maintenance and negligence by any party or third-party.

The warranty period starts from the date of purchase or where delivery is included, from the date the product was delivered or 3 days from when it was dispatched, whichever is sooner.

For a warranty to be exercised, proof of purchase from an authorised dealer must be provided. Warranties are only applicable to the original owner and not transferrable. Warranties are not applicable to seconds and floor stock.

The purchaser is liable for all outgoings including expenses that result from making a claim under the warranty, or relate in any way to the warranty. This includes but is not limited to providing access to the product on-site or using transportation to assess defects and repair or replace the product in accordance with terms of the warranty. Eight Quarters’ liability under this warranty shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods.

As a part of Eight Quarters’ promise to be continual innovators, our product ranges may alter or change from time to time. In the instance of an approved warranty claim where the product cannot be directly replaced, the purchaser will be offered a similar product or refund.

 

PROCESS FOR MAKING A CLAIM

To help us process your warranty claim as quickly as possible please follow the following steps:

  1. Please contact us via sales@eightquarters.com.au with your name, order number, proof of purchase and details of the defect (including photos and any other relevant information).
  2. We will review your claim and contact you regarding the next steps.
  3. If your claim is approved, the product will be replaced at no additional cost to you. Where the product cannot be directly replaced, you will be offered a similar product or refund.
