CERAMIC BASINS
While ceramic basins are not easily damaged, they may become scratched or stained and will need to be cared for to ensure they last a lifetime. Clean with a soft damp cloth and warm water or a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. Avoid leaving toothpaste, makeup or residues from other bathroom products on the surface for extended periods.
CONCRETE AND TERRAZZO BASINS
Our terrazzo basins can be cleaned with warm water or mild detergent and dried with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. We highly recommend wax sealing your basin every 6 months to ensure the basin looks the same as the day you purchased it.
SOLID SURFACE BASINS
Solid surface can be cleaned inside and out with warm water and dried with a soft cloth. For a deeper clean, a mild detergent can be used and is recommended for the white part of the basin only. For more stubborn dirt marks a cream cleanser can be used wiping off any remaining residue with a damp cloth (white basin or white part of basin only).
For harsher scratches, sandpaper and wax can be used (white basin or white part of basin only). Start with an 800 grit and rub in small circular motions on the scratch. Work up to a 1500 grit using the same method. Clean off any excess on the basin and finish off with a wax seal. If the scratch is deeper, you may need to start with a lower grit. We recommend wax sealing your basin every 6 months to maintain its natural look.
